The Lady Cougars got a 59-26 win on the road at Tunstall on Friday, Jan. 3.
Coach Donny Rakes said “It was a good team win for our kids. Everyone contributed and played about the same minutes, and that is always a good night. We looked for each other and shared the ball extremely well with 21 assists. That’s a huge number of assists to have.
“I was very proud of our unselfishness. CC (Sierra Hubbard) really had a great all-around game with 23 points, eight boards, four assists and four steals,” Rakes said. “She continues to lead us. Abigail Epperson also had a big stat night as well. Abby Dillon continues to be a real force on the inside with rebounding, and she blocked five shots as well. Good Night for the Lady Cougars.”
The Lady Cougars are 4-4 on the season.
