Landon Reynolds, age 79, of 340 Hickory Forest Road, Danville, died on June 29, 2016 at his home.
He was born on August 16, 1936, in Meadows of Dan to the late Henry Rufus Reynolds and Lydia Hylton Reynolds. He was also preceded in death by three sisters.
He worked at Dan River Mills in maintenance and was a member of the Longview Community Church. He was an avid gardener and loved his home-place in the mountains.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Robertson Reynolds of the home; son, Michael Landon Reynolds and his wife Donna of Danville; daughters, Debra Susan Swinney and her husband Timothy of Danville, Judy Ann Austin and her husband Steve of Dry Fork; and two grandchildren, Christopher Devone Rigney and Alexandra Nicole Rigney.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 2, at Longview Community Church with the Revs. Michael Blythe and Seth Lackey officiating. Burial was at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville.
