PAWS (Patrick Animal Welfare Society) would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to The Patrick County Animal Shelter for their invaluable assistance and cooperation. We are sister organizations in that we work hand-in-hand to help rescue and place animals into loving families. We are indeed blessed to have such dedicated, caring officers in Angela and Wanda at our community Shelter. Please contact either officer at 276-694-6259
Also, we would like to extend our whole-hearted thanks and gratitude to Clover Cat Rescue. Their work with cat fostering and adoption is instrumental in finding forever homes for these needy animals. Please contact Clover Cat Rescue, 276-694-3598 (leave a message), visit her on the internet at www.clovercatrescue.com, or email her at clovercatrescue@yahoo.com. Clover Cat Rescue can help you find your forever furry friend and can also assist with spay/neutering of your current cat.
PAWS is hosting a FREE RABIES CLINIC on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon. Please arrive at registration with your dog(s) name, age, breed, gender, and weight. Registration will be at the entrance of the Hooker Building at Rotary Field. Your dog(s) will remain in your vehicle at all times. Please secure the dog(s) on a leash or in a crate in the vehicle for the veterinarian. A licensed veterinarian will inoculate your dog(s).
PAWS also has a low-cost and no-cost spay/neuter program for dogs. We work with three local veterinarians using a voucher system. The voucher covers the cost of the spay/neuter surgical procedure. Contact us at 276-694-2378 for further information.
Please visit us at www.pawsofpatrick.com, call our voicemail line at 276-694-2378 (leave a message for callback), or ask any of our dedicated members for information. PAWS is committed to the welfare, humane treatment and care of all animals. Donations will gladly be accepted so that we may continue to help our animals. Please mark your calendars for October 26, 2019. PAWS hopes to see you there.
