I would like to take this opportunity to express my free speech regarding Denise Stirewalt, candidate for Supervisor of Peter’s Creek Magisterial District. I cannot vote for Denise since I am not in her district. However, I feel compelled to speak on her behalf.
I have known Denise for a long time and in that time, she has always been a person of high integrity and certainly not afraid of a challenge. As a matter of fact, she can be a formidable opponent not because she runs a negative campaign but just the opposite because she knows how government works and the serious problems facing our county first hand.
Denise doesn’t concern herself with negativity of her opponent because she is too busy letting people know where she stands on the issues concerning our county. Denise isn’t afraid to meet the public face to face because she is all too eager to let them know her positions on so many of the issues that are currently a matter of concern for our county.
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Denise, I urge you to seek her out and talk with her. She loves this county and you will find that she just isn’t a sparking personality but an extremely smart and determined individual. I am very proud to call her my friend.
