The Friends of the Blue Ridge Regional Library will be hosting a book sale on Saturday, April 16, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the basement of the Martinsville Branch Library, 310 East Church Street.
Friday, April 15, is “Members Only” night from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
“Our spring sale is here and books have sprung up all over the basement,” according to a news release from the Friends of the Blue Ridge Library.
For western lovers, the sale will feature a huge collection of Zane Grey and Louis Lamour paperbacks. There will also be books on gardening, home improvement, travel, nature and natural science; fiction, books for young adults, science fiction reference, and children’s books.
In addition, there will be VHS tapes (children’s, older classics and movies), Bassett High School yearbooks for 2008 and 2009, and a 10 cents clearance area. Green-marked books will be sold for 25 cents or five for $1.
The next book sale is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
