Linda Plaster Lawson, 80, of Patrick Springs, VA passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 14, 1942, in Patrick County to the late Liberty Pauline Shough and James Russell Plaster. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell Ray Lawson and one sister, Paula Plaster Pendleton.

She was self-employed beautician, was a member of Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church where she played the piano and sang with her sister Paula and the Patrick Springs Trio, Phillip, Faye, Linda at the church, was a member of Women’s Ministries, and was in the Patrick Springs Ruritan Club.

Surviving are her daughter, Jill Lawson Garrahan of the home, two sons, Bart Lawson (Jennifer) of Collinsville, VA, Mitch Lawson (Glenda) of Wake Forest, NC, one brother, Phillip Plaster (Faye) of Patrick Springs, VA and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and brother-in-law, Bob Pendleton of Patrick Springs. Honorary family members are Leon and Elinor Handy of Patrick Springs, VA.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be at Providence Community Cemetery with Pastor Samuel Leonard and Pastor David Sparks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday January 2, 2023, Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church

Memorials may be made to Women;s Ministries c/o 260 Spring Rd Patrick Springs, VA 24133. Norris Funeral Services in Stuart is serving the Lawson family. Online condolences may be made at www.norrisfuneral.com
