On the fourth Friday of each month, Reynolds Homestead invites learners ages 0-5 and their families to the historic home for a special activity, craft, and story time.
The Aug. 28 event brings lessons on clothing care in the Victorian era. Learners will explore mending, patchwork, and creative reuse of clothing. They will learn how clothes were washed and maintained before machinery, read a short book, and complete a craft based on the learning.
The program begins at 10 a.m. Contact Melanie Gilbert to learn more at [email protected].
