The following Patrick County High School students were recognized by the Piedmont District and Region 3D for excelling in their respective winter sports including basketball, wrestling and indoor track.
For girls basketball, Sierra Hubbard and Hannah Roberson were awarded 1st Team All – Piedmont District; Izzy Beasley and Lindsey Marshall for 2nd Team All – Piedmont District; Riya Patel received Honorable Mention All – Piedmont District; 1stTeam 3D – All Region went to Sierra Hubbard; Hannah Roberson and Lindsey Marshall received 2nd Team 3D, and Honorable Mention 3D – All Region went to Izzy Beasley.
For Boy’s basketball, DeAndre Reynolds received 2nd Team All – Piedmont District and 2nd Team Region 3D – All Region.
In wrestling, 1st Team All – Piedmont District went to Owen Smith, Alfredo Gutierrez, and Aiden LaComa; Darious Williams received 2nd Team All – Piedmont District; Honorable Mention All – Piedmont District- went to Jaheim Johnson; 2nd Team 3D – All Region was awarded to Alfredo Gutierrez, and Honorable Mention 3D – All Region went to Owen Smith and Aiden Lacoma.
For indoor track, Molly Hernandez received 1st Team 3D – All Region.
