There was a great showing to end the season at the South Stokes Tomahawk Open. All wrestlers who participated brought home a medal. Five first place medals were presented to Reid Corns, Tyler Cobbler, Wesley Horton, and Logan Rakes who won two gold medals. Eight second place medals were won by Blake Dehart, Wesley Horton, Eli Lester, Kenny Blankenship, Erik Martinez-Tejeda, Landon Moles, Jacob Seay, and Tyler Cobbler. Third place finishers were Ian Martinez-Tejada and Leia Cobbler. “We can’t express how proud we are of all these wrestlers and the hard work they have put in this season. We would like to thank the parents also for your time and dedication getting your kids to practice and tournaments. We hope to see everyone again in the fall,” team officials said.
