Lottie J. Rorrer

Lottie Jones Rorrer, age 84, of Stuart, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Pioneer Community Hospital.

She was born in Patrick County on May 8, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Joseph O. Jones and Beatrice Martin Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, English C. Rorrer; a great grandson, Erik Rorrer; three sisters, Hazel Hall, Lois Jones, and Peggy Manns; and two brothers, Richard Jones and Clarence Jones.

She was a member of Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Rorrer of Stuart; three grandchildren, Toby, Teddy and Jamie Rorrer; eight great-grandchildren, Danny, Asia, Elijah, Taylor, Katelynn, Haley, Austin and Aleigha; and one great-great-grandchild, Keylon Nowlin; three sisters, Charlotte Setliff of Stuart, Lucille Holley and Jolene Walker, both of Eden, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
