The Lower Dam Band and the Whiteoak Ramblers will kick off the Patrick County Music Association’s (PCMA) 2025 season by taking the stage at the Saturday, January 25 show. The event will be held at the Rotary Building in Stuart with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the music starting at 6 p.m.

PCMA President Denny Alley said both groups perform country and blue grass music.

The Lower Dan Band “is from Meadows of Dan,” Alley said.

The Whiteoak Ramblers, previously known as Jus Cauz Bluegrass Band, is based out of Chatham.

Both groups have performed at PCMA shows in the past.

Alley said PCMA will hold one show each month for the first six months of the year before taking a break over the summer. Shows will then return in October.

“They’re all new bands,” Alley said.

Concessions will be available for purchase from the Patrick County Shooting Education Team, with proceeds going to teach children in the area firearm safety.
