Marie Harris Jones, 92, of Martinsville, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
She was born on September 2, 1924 in Patrick County and was a daughter of the late John Edd Harris and Myrtle Fulcher Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Morton Jones; sisters, Rainnie Matthews, Gladys Murphy, and Ruth Angeline Conway; and brothers, Willie Giles Harris and John Stanford Harris
She was a member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Phillip Jones of the residence and Keevin Jones of Ridgeway; sister, Barbara Anne Martin of Richmond; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Monday at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel with the Rev. Ashley Harrington officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Burial Park.
