Martha Sue Hooker, 62, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. She was born July 3, 1958 in Stuart to the late James Fain and the late Clara Edna Lovell Fain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Hall.
Mrs. Hooker attended Patrick County Public Schools. She enjoyed watching wrestling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Hooker; daughters, Jerrie Deal (Pee-Wee) and Kellie Martin; sister, Mary Frances Bryant; brothers, Avery Hall (Sally), Donald Fain (Lena), Doyle Fain (Martha), Robert Fain, Stanley Fain (Jennifer), and Phillip Fain; grandchildren, Taylor Payne, Xavier Whitt, Trevor Whitt, Jazmyn Whitt and Destiney Deal; great-granddaughter, Erica Payne; and special friends, Gail Fain and Sindy Fain.
Services will be held at a later date.
