Fans attending the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 will have a new option when it comes to seating for NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious Late Model Stock Car Race on October 16.
This year, for the first time ever, fans will have the opportunity to watch the race from Club 47, Martinsville Speedway’s premier fan suite, located above the start finish line.
“The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 is a big deal not only for drivers, but for fans of Late Model Stock Car racing,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “With this race being the premier NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race in the country, we wanted to give those fans the opportunity to enjoy all of what Martinsville Speedway has to offer, and that includes Club 47.”
A ticket for Club 47, which cost $149, includes a reserved seat, full lunch buffet, snacks throughout the afternoon, cash bar for beer and wine and a West Lot parking pass.
In addition, spots in Champions’ Overlook, the VIP RV park located above the backstretch will once again be available for $500. The spots include both water and electric hookup and require the purchase of race tickets or a pit pass.
Backstretch camping, which features 50 AMP power hookups, is available for $50.
The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 pays $25,000 to the winner and regularly sees more than 75 teams from across the southeast show up to make the 40-car field.
The day starts with three 25 lap heat races and a 25 lap “last chance race” to set the field, followed by the 200 lap feature.
Last year Tommy Lemons Jr. held off a furious charge from Timothy Peters on the final lap to win his second grandfather clock trophy.
General Admission grandstand seating is $30 for adults and $5 for youth 12-and-under.
