Matching grants announced for festivals and events

The Patrick County Tourism Advisory Council has approved grant funding to assist each district in Patrick County through the Tourism Incentive Reimbursement Matching Grant Program for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

This grant is funded by the transient occupancy tax. No taxpayer dollars are used to market Patrick County.

The tourism matching grant program is designed to stimulate visitor spending, increase overnight stays in the tourism-sector as well as support the development of robust and sustainable economies that include businesses in Patrick County.
