The Meadows of Dan community will host its annual Christmas parade Saturday, November 23, at 3 p.m. This year’s grand marshals are Ron and Ann Cockram, owners of historic Cockram’s Mill. The parade organizers wish to thank the Cockrams for their years of volunteer work at area events.
It’s free to enter the parade. Those wishing to take part are asked to line up on Light Ridge Road. After the parade, spectators may enjoy the annual tree lighting, cookies, s’mores, hot chocolate and cider.
Santa will be there, sponsored by the Toytime Toy Museum. For a small fee, families can also visit the museum Saturday. For more information, please call Trinity Goad at (540) 230-7943.
