Milton Sam Katsifos, 97, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away November 30, 2022.

He graduated Martinsville High School and earned a degree from North Carolina State University in Textile Engineering. He served in the United States Navy during World War Il. He was the Owner of Virginia and Mountain Vending, and was an Executive of Dominion Surplus, a subsidiary of Tultex, for twenty-one years. Additionally, he served on the board of directors in the West Piedmont Business Development Center, was a Masonic Veteran of Piedmont 152, a member of the Jaycees, and was a Chairperson of SCORE. He was a long-term parishioner of St. Peter’s Greek Orthodox Church, where he was a member of the board and served as the President of the Council.

He is survived by his wife, Panayiota G. Katsifos, of Martinsville, Virginia; his three daughters, Martha Katsifos, Paula Moore, Daphne and Jeff Turner; four grandchildren, Kristopher Moore, Milton Moore Alexandra Turner, and Erin Turner.

The funeral will be held on Friday, December 2″ at 11 at St. Peter’s Greek Orthodox Church in Danville Virginia.
