The Creative Arts Center in Stuart will host its monthly “Painting with Grace” class on Friday, August 10 at 6 p.m.

Local art teacher Grace Helms leads a group each month in acrylic painting at the Reynolds Homestead’s art center, located at 334 Patrick Avenue in Stuart.

The cost of the class is $30 per person and preregistration is required by calling (276) 694-7181. This month’s “Umbrella” painting echoes the rainy days of the last few weeks. Participants are asked to bring a snack or appetizer to share and enjoy food, fun and fellowship.
