Church service was held in the parking lot again, but it was good because the humidity wasn’t as bad. Sam the Church Dog was visiting everyone. After I gave him a treat, he laid down on the pavement and had a short nap. I gave him three nabs, and then he was off greeting people for a while, but then he laid down in front of the stage.
Thanks to Donald Willard and crew for mowing my yard, the fastest crew I ever saw. I missed Liam as he was mowing along the road. Hope to see him soon.
Please put a special person on your prayer list who called me on Saturday, The Lord will know who he is.
Thanks to Jerry and Rhonda Morgan for bringing me water and paper towels by the house on Friday- another blessing!
Keith Medley came over and fixed my table that had a broken slat on it. It’s special because Debby Archer made it. Also, Keith got my trash. That’s a blessing.
My mail carrier came down to the house on Tuesday because she had a special package for me. I opened it right then, and it was magazines from my friend Cheryl Sutphin. I hadn’t seen them before. Thank you and love to Cheryl Sutphin and her husband. Please keep in touch.
Thanks to Ellen Fulcher for bringing me a big bag of Amish books. I had read only two of them, so I’ve had lots of reading material. Then I can share with others.
Got a nice letter from my stepson. He always sends me some very interesting articles and reading material.
The food ministry was blessed with a lot of food. I really enjoy talking to the people, and having Sam the Church Dog staying with me and Linda. Sam is a good greeter.
I was so sad to get word that my long time flower friend Pauline Martin had passed away. Her daughter sent me a note. A lot of people knew Pauline because she had lived in Patrick County. Heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family.
Bye until next time and stay safe.
Food For thought- Lord I could go on all day about your good care for me and I often see evidence of how well you care for other members of your flock. You care for us as no one else ever could. Amen
