When I was buying gas at On the Run the other day, I saw one of my favorite people and my boss for 24 years: Ronnie Greene, the poor farmer. I loved working there. It surely made my day to see Ronnie.
It surely is nice to have two of the sisters from The Mormon Church come help us at the Jesus House Clothing Ministry as part of their community service.
We really did have a good time with the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness SAGES group (senior citizens). It was fun doing Bible trivia and games.
Pray for Pastor Marion while he is on his mission trip to Israel and Romania.
Heartfelt sympathy goes to the family of Henry Ayers. He will be remembered always for his work with the PARC Workshop. Keep the family in your prayers.
The Prayer Walk in Stuart was very nice with people coming together from several different churches to pray. The speaker was good and the singing had a great message also. It would have been nice if more people had come.
I was so sorry to hear of the death of Joyce (Kaye) Cassell. Please keep this family in your prayers.
My cousin Ruby Asbury is a great genealogist and goes way back to trace family ancestors, and I think she traced our family to 1790. Ruby, her sister Shirlien and niece are all great genealogists. I’ve told them all I can remember. If you want to know something, they can probably dig it up for you.
Mary Ann left for home in Washington, D.C. I’m going to miss her cheery voice and our conversations, but she will keep in touch by phone and maybe a pretty hand-made card now and then. But she will be back sometime. Now Marilyn’s and Denny’s house will have new owners and I’ll have new neighbors moving in. I’ll be happy that they are there and will visit when they get settled, and introduce myself.
On Thursday, September 22, I had a big, big surprise. Marilyn’s Florist arrived at my house with a beautiful, huge fall arrangement plus gift cards to Walmart, On the Run, Elizabeth’s Pizza, and Curls and Colors. I was overwhelmed by the generosity of Mary Ann Settlemire and Vanessa DuPuy. Thank you so much. Love you.
I was so sorry to hear of the death of Lois Baldwin. My love and sympathy go to the family.
I know our friend Curtis had a big birthday recently. He shared his birthday cake with a lot of people.
Household hint: Baking powder will remove tea or coffee stains from china pots and cups.

Food for thought
The Lord knows who we are, where we are, and what we need. We are always in His care. Psalm 139:1-18 says “You know when I sit and when I rise. You perceive my thoughts from afar.”

Meet Penny the pup and Albert the pig. Looks like Penny is startled at the camera, but Albert the pig kept on eating. They belong to my friend Dave and Ramona Kinash.
