Pictured: My aunt Clayton Boyd with some of her crafts. She was talented with sewing and crafts. I have a cat door stop like the one in the photo. Lots of good memories of my aunt Clayton.

Guess what? On Saturday I drove to the Spring Drug Store and got what I needed and my meds. Then I went to Elizabeth’s Pizza and enjoyed a big hamburger. It was good to see everyone. After that, I went home and had a nap.
Then on Sunday I was blessed to be able to go to The Hebrew Class, Sunday school and Church Service. Came home and then Arlene and Leonard Trent came over and visited. I’m most thankful for all the blessings that come my way. At last count, I had got 212 cards.
The Food Ministry is going great at the PSPHC. I was happy to go over for a while and see the people and Sam the Church Dog. He was greeting all the people. I was glad that my friends Jerry and Rhonda Morgan came by for a while. They had been working at the Jesus House.
Congratulations to Jerry and Arlene Shough for their 57 years of marriage. You both are looking good.
So sorry to hear that a fire destroyed Russell and Joyce Wimbish’s home that was on 284 Watering Hole Lane, Patrick Springs at the present. Keep them in your prayers and help if you can.
Sure was nice to get my hair cut again- made me feel like new. I really appreciate the hairdresser there. She is so nice and caring and does a good job. Thank you.
Thanks to the Men’s Ministry for the delicious beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. I really enjoyed that again as they gave me a plate.
Sure was nice to spend some time with Sam the Church Dog. He stays busy greeting folks that come.

Food for Thought- happiness is inward; and not outward, and so, it does not depend on what we have, but on what we are. This is what Henry Van Dyke says.

Fat- Free Vegetable Soup
1 medium cabbage- shredded
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups tomato juice
1 onion chopped
1 can green bean
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in a large stew pot and bring to a boil. Cook until vegetables are tender.
