Pictured, Marie Turman in her garden. I remember her. She was a beautiful woman and always smiling. Thanks to Virginia Walker for the photo.

By Ivalien Reynolds

Well, here we are homebound, but I do take a ride through Patrick every day and enjoy the pretty flowers, also I call in an order for my “Nerve Pill,” which is one of their delicious hamburgers and a diet Pepsi to go. I miss sitting down and eating inside at Elizabeth’s Pizza. But I’m very thankful I can go get my food.

I’m still getting cards and letters sure does brighten my days. Thank you!

We had church service again outside. The praise team sang pretty songs and the message was good and had a good crowd.

Sam the Dog was there. As I was leaving, he came by to say good- bye. Love that Sam!

Thanks to the food Ministry at PSPHC for fixing me a nice box of delicious fruit and vegetables. I’m eating well, and I really did enjoy Mary Simmons’s goodies.

The hummingbirds bring a lot of joy to me. I’m so glad they came.

When the virus calms down, I’m hoping to see some of the people at the Landmark and my therapists and others. I just loved them all. Thank you for my good care.

I sure did enjoy talking to Arlene Trent when she called on Tuesday. We covered a lot of topics. Arlene and Leonard really like the hamburgers at Elizabeth’s. I’ll get another one soon for my nerve pill.

Then Danny Reynolds called to check on me. We had a really good conversation and he sure did brighten my day. Thank you!

Thanks to Keith Medley for getting my trash. That helps me a lot, and is another blessing.

Well, I went to Elizabeth’s Pizza and got that hamburger, like I’ve said it’s the best nerve pill. I do miss going inside and watching people, so relaxing.

Mary Ann called and they are all in also, but they are doing interesting things. I love her calls.

Food for Thought- Change isn’t easy, but staying on the wrong path leads to unnecessary heartache. Ecclesiastes says It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the songs of fools.
