We had another bit of winter weather with some ice, but nothing like the one that the top of the mountain is still trying to clean up.
I had a very nice Thanksgiving and was blessed to go to my sister-in-law’s home for lunch. It was good to see everyone. Then on to Larry and Teresa Martin’s home for supper, and as usual it was a feast and a large crowd. I had something that I never had before – chocolate drop filled with pumpkin. It was delicious.
The top of the mountain had their parade and it’s always a big one. There are some really neat shops up there and now they are ready for Christmas – so much to see.
The Soup Kitchen did more than 100 box lunches. It was a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. They worked hard, but enjoyed doing it. Linda Roberts and I enjoyed making some deliveries. They will do this again as everyone really enjoyed it. Then on Tuesday, they did bag lunches which the clients prepare by opening and heating. There were desserts and bread. They liked it.
It was a great time of fellowship when Providence Methodist Church came over to the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church and had a meal together. I sure did enjoy Pastor Keith Vernon’s message and it’s always a treat every first Saturday of the month for the Country Breakfast.
“Miss” Claudine Wood said her allergies are really bothering her. I know the feeling because I seem to have them worse during the winter.
Mary Ann called from D.C. I got tickled when she told me about a little mouse that got into her apartment. It was in her trash can and she tied it up in the bag. Guess it was goodbye for that mouse.
Food for thought – Man says, “show me and I’ll trust you.” God says, “Trust me and I’ll show you.”
Pizza Casserole

8 ounces pepperoni
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 large can spaghetti sauce
1 16 ounce package mozzarella cheese
1 10 ounce package egg noodles or spaghetti noodles
Brown beef, onions, green peppers, drain. Cook noodles, add everything except cheese to beef mixture. Put in a casserole dish and top with cheese. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
Helpful Hint – To quickly bake potatoes, place them in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. Pierce their skin with a fork and bake in a preheated oven.
