Effective October 1, Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care will re-locate its Stuart area administrative and clinical operations, currently housed at 18981 Jeb Stuart Highway, to the agency’s Martinsville office, located at 730 East Church street in Martinsville.
“This move will facilitate additional support to the western and southern parts of Virginia, provide better collaboration among the combined staff, and give us time to evaluate our space needs for the future,” said Melissa Hiatt, Senior Director of Development with Mountain Valley Hospice.
Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing the highest level of compassionate, professional hospice care to patients with serious illness, since 1983.
Now serving 18 counties in Northwestern North Carolina and Southwestern Virginia, the agency’s mission is to create the best possible experience for every patient, every family, every time.
“Our goal is to remain Virginia’s first choice for hospice and palliative care, and this consolidation of resources will help us reach that goal,” said Hiatt.
