Mr. Adrian Leon Bryant, age 89 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Sovah Health of Martinsville. He was born in Gaffney, South Carolina on August 5, 1930 to the late Pearl Graham “P.G.” Bryant and Ina Spencer Bryant. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by three brothers, Graham Bryant, Harry Bryant, and Joe Bryant; and a sister, Martha Crouse. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War, had served as President of the Patrick County Farm Bureau, was a volunteer with Smith River Rescue, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Bryant is survived by his loving wife, Jane Ashburn Bryant; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Bryant and wife, Shirley, Rob Bryant, Steve Bryant and wife, Julie, and Rob Cross and wife, Debbie; 10 grandchildren, Daniel (Tina) Bryant, Shanna (Terry) Goodnight, Kara Bryant, Jason (Joie) Bryant, Jonathan (April) Bryant, Katheryn (Robert) Fisher, Daniel (Erin) Bryant, Savannah Kimble, Rachel Cross, and Conner Cross; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Elkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1108, Stuart, Virginia 24171. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements, and online condolences may be made by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
