Mr. Herman Lee Willard, age 82 of Cascade, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at SOVAH of Danville.  He was born in Patrick County on February 9, 1939, to the late Boss and Mary Willard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara W. Hall; and four brothers, Garland, Gifford, Clyde, and Edd Willard.

Surviving is three children, Jeffrey Willard of Metairie, LA, Mary Lee Willard, Nancy Willard both of Kenner, LA; seven step-children, Charlene Willard-Suess of New Orleans, LA, Chris Williard of Kenner, LA, Pamela Willard-McCarthy of Kenner, LA, Tammy LaCombs of Pineville, LA, Debbie Davis of Pineville, LA, Preston Callaway of Princeton, TX, Melissa Carrington of Pollock, LA; numerous grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Gary Hunt of Stuart; one brother and sister-in-law, Vance and Ruth Willard of Axton; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brosville Fire Department, 11912 Martinsville Hwy, Danville, VA 24541.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
