Mr. Jack Allen Jones, age 87 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Hillsville. He was born in Brooke, VA on April 30, 1932 to the late Almon R. Jones and Bessie Payne Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia L. Jones; one grandson, Robert Mitchell Jones; one sister, Jean Virginia Vernon; and two brothers, Johnny Jones and Douglas F. Jones. Jack had served in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Conner Jones of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Jones of Lake City, FL; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Martin Dean Hylton of Hillsville; six grandchildren, Mark Jones and wife, Samantha, Brandi Gravely and husband, Nolan, Jessica Warren and husband, Jamie, Jordan Hylton-Risden and husband, David, Carmen Ramantanin and husband, Jason, Carla Fell and husband, Stephen; 12 great grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.
