Mr. Kenneth Lane “Kenny” Wimbush

Mr. Kenneth Lane “Kenny” Wimbush, age 62 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Sovah Health of Martinsville.  He was born in Martinsville on February 2, 1958.  He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Wimbush; two sisters, Patricia Ann Wimbush, Constance Renee Wimbush; and one brother, Frederick Barry Wimbush.  Kenny was a member of Iron Belt Christian Church where he enjoyed helping out and singing in the choir.  He liked fishing and playing video games with his nieces and nephews.

Surviving is his mother, Annie Vaughn Wimbush of Stuart; two brothers, Warren H. “Pee Wee” Wimbush, Jr. of Stuart, Paul Michael Wimbush of Craigsville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Following Covid19 regulations, a funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Wimbush officiating.  Burial will follow in the Iron Belt Christian Church Cemetery.  A wake will be held 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
