Mr. Lloyd Melvin Marshall, age 74 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on January 1, 1946 to the late Early and Viola Dalton Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glinda “Paulette” Belcher Marshall; one sister, Nancy Harris; and three brothers, Mack Marshall, Charlie “Bud” Marshall, and Early “Pete” Marshall. Lloyd had been the owner/operator of Marshall Logging.Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Carolyn Marshall of Dry Pond, Jerry and Ashley Marshall of Dry Pond; ten grandchildren, Allyson, Andrea, Charles, Morgan, Michael Jr, Karleigh, Kaleb, Hailey, Nikki, Sophia; one great granddaughter, Charlie Grace; four sisters, Annie Boyd of Vesta, Virginia Howell of Vesta, Dorothy Agee of Meadows of Dan, Sue Webb of Willis; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Lewis Family Cemetery in Vesta with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating.
