Mr. Terry Lane Rorrer

Mr. Terry Lane Rorrer, age 65 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia on August 8, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Lester Rorrer and Patsy Jane Williams Rorrer. Mr. Rorrer loved to read, had a love for history and was very intelligent. He loved to teach and taught everyone something. Terry spent his time birdwatching and loved his dogs and his family dearly.

Mr. Rorrer is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Rorrer, Steve Rorrer (Kelly), all of Stuart; three nephews and nieces, Shawn Rorrer, Amber Rakes (Erik), Tiffany Whorley (Dustin); four great nephews and nieces, Titus Rorrer, Collin Rakes, Asher Rorrer, McKenzie Whorley and many extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Bouldin Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Rick Burnett and Pastor David Heath officiating and Covid-19 guidelines to be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bouldin Memorial Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Della Fulcher, 590 American Legion Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
