Mrs. Amy Lou Goins Curry, age 46 of Stuart, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her home. She was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on June 8, 1973. She was a hard worker who enjoyed mowing yards, and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Mrs. Curry is survived by her husband, Alan Ray Curry of the home; a daughter, Amanda DeVor and husband, Daniel of Princeton, West Virginia; a son, Nathaniel Curry of the home; a step-daughter, Kim Steele and husband, Ryan of King, North Carolina; a grandchild, Ruthie Steele; her mother, Bertha Jones Goins of Stuart; her father, Thomas Goins of Patrick Springs; three sisters, Juanita Goad and husband, Willie of Stuart, Norma Conner and husband, Gary of Woolwine, Donna Crouse and fiancé, Jack O’Neil George of Stuart; a brother, Tommy Goins and Jennifer Salyer of Claudville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Go Fund Me page set up by the family in support of the loss of Amy Curry. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneraservices.com.
