  Mrs. Arlene Clark Hylton, age 86 of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  She was born in Patrick County on January 13, 1936, to the late Bryant Clark and Winnie Craig Clark.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Hylton; one daughter, Rachel Lynn Lawson; one grandson, Jerry Hylton; four sisters, Frankie Stovall, Carol McAlexander, Ann Clark, an infant sister; and four brothers, Cecil, Tom, Craig, and Randolph Clark.

          Surviving is three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny Hylton and Pam Foley of Spencer, Billy and Anita Hylton of Patrick Springs, David and Shelby Hylton of Martinsville; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Spence of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.

          A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Pastor Dwayne Pruitt officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
