Mrs. Clara Belcher Puckett

Mrs. Clara Belcher Puckett, age 81, of Meadows of Dan passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Skyline Manor in Floyd. She was born in Floyd County on October 17, 1938 to the late Thomas Belcher and Della Bolt Belcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters, Della Cruise, Patricia Cruise, Linda Cruise; two sons, Lonnie and Elvin Cruise; one sister, Louise Frazier; and one brother, Paul Belcher. Clara was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving are her husband, Otis Puckett of the home; three sons, Ronald Cruise of Meadows of Dan, Phillip Leon Cruise of Louisburg, NC, Donald Puckett of Stuart; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Nester of Meadows of Dan, Dorothy Cruise of Bassett, Mabel Puckett of Martinsville; one brother, Jim Belcher of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
