Mrs. Dorothy Lillie Harbour DeHart

Mrs. Dorothy Lillie Harbour DeHart, age 96 of Woolwine, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 18, 1925, to the late Charlie Murry Harbour and Mary Frances Pendleton Harbour.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. DeHart was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward DeHart; a son, James Nash DeHart; a granddaughter, Lori Ann Pack; two great-grandsons, James McAdams and an infant; and four brothers, Coy, Louis, Wesley and Joseph Harbour.  Mrs. DeHart was a charter member of Fairystone Baptist Church and love to read her Bible.  She had written in her Bible, “Lord let me live, long as I can take care of myself and do for others.”

Mrs. DeHart is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lillie and Waco Hylton of Woolwine; grandchildren; a sister, Annie Adkins of Hickory, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairystone Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Pruitt officiating.  Burial will follow in Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday morning at the church.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
