<img class="size-medium wp-image-42407 alignright" src="https:\/\/theenterprise.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2020\/12\/Obit1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" \/>Mrs. Polly \u201cJosephine\u201d Hiatt Jenkins, 89 of Ararat, Virginia passed away at Heritage Hall in Laurel Fork, Virginia on Monday, March 8, 2021.\u00a0 Mrs. Jenkins was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 8, 1931 to the late Arless and Maola Marshall Hiatt. \u00a0Josephine was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.\u00a0 She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.\u00a0 She was a faithful member of Doe Run Baptist Church as well as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Mike Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins and fianc\u00e9 Vonda Cox; one sister, Libby Shaw; one brother, Marvin Hiatt; and a sister-in-law, Linda Hiatt; a special niece, Nancy Hiatt; and two caregivers, Judy Bare and Jean Harrell.\u00a0 In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Rev., William Clarence Jenkins; one sister, Pauline Hiatt; and two brothers, Lanford Hiatt and Tim Hiatt.\u00a0 A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Doe Run Baptist Church with burial to follow in the cemetery. \u00a0Rev.
