Mrs. Ruby Bowman Hill

Mrs. Ruby Bowman Hill, age 73 of Claudville, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 11, 1946 in Patrick County to the late William H. Bowman and Ettie Nunn Bowman. Ruby had driven the handicap school bus for the Patrick County School System for 25 years. She loved to sew, read, and work puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Herbert Hill of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ocean Hill; one daughter, Sharon Hill; four grandchildren, Angie Hill, Brandon Smith, Gavin Hill, Gabriel Hill; one great grandson, Andrew David Hill; one brother, Wayne Bowman; one sister, Mary Ellen Corn; a special friend, Rhonda Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery in Westfield, NC with Pastor Tommy Nichols officiating. Moody Funeral Services in Stuart is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
