Mrs. Virginia Ann Elgin Belcher Martin, age 82 of Woolwine, Virginia passed away on March 24, 2021. She was born in Patrick County on January 7, 1939 to the late Charlie Elgin and Losia Valley Weaver Elgin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur T. Belcher; second husband, Kenneth Martin; four brothers, Moir DeHart, Allen DeHart, Richard Elgin, and Willie Elgin; one stepson, Herbie Martin. Virginia Ann was a member of Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved flowers of all kinds and bird watching. She was a loving, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and she truly loved her little dog, Buddy.

She is survived by four children; Sharan Gilley and husband, Wayne of Stuart, Karan Puckett of Stuart, Steven Belcher of Winchester, Dean Belcher and wife, Jessica of Woolwine; one stepson, Kenny Martin and wife Susan of Lakeland, Florida; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Woolwine Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Terry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church, c/o Naomi Pilson, 202 Bob Kat Lane, Stuart, VA, 24171. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart has been entrusted with the arrangements and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
