Leigh Nash is perhaps best known as the pixie-like singer with the heavenly voice from Sixpence None the Richer, a group that enjoyed considerable fame in the late 90’s with the singles Kiss Me and There She Goes.
These days she has returned to her roots a little, which consist of Christian and country music. Nash’s original musical inspiration came from classic country heroines Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Tanya Tucker, whose songs she used to learn on guitar long before the Sixpence days.
Leigh Nash and her husband, Stephen Wilson, will weave a mix of her magical hits from yesterday with her latest country and Christian favorites at The Arts Place of Stokes on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

This performance is part of the Stokes County Arts Council’s 2019 Come Hear NC Music Celebration sponsored by the NC Dept. of Natural and Cultural Resources, NC Arts Council and Stokes County Arts Council. Concerts in the series have included the Malpass Brothers, Caleb Caudle, and John Cowan. The series wraps in May with a performance by the legendary Suzy Bogguss.
