Nearly 25 people named in recent round of indictments

Grand jurors handed down a total of 39 indictments on September 7, according to records in the Patrick County Court Clerk’s Office.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but a grand jury’s determination that enough evidence exists to warrant a trail.

Those named in the indictments are:

*Brandy Miguel Bueno-Almenares, 32, of Rocky Mount, hit and run, March 29.

*Tyler James Anderson, 24, Claudville, destruction of property, Sept. 7, 2020.

*Gary Lee Ayers Jr., 32, of Ararat, unlawfully shoot in an occupied building, March 27.

*Fred Dwayne Bocock, 52, of Stuart, violation of protective order – 3rd within 20 years, April 26.

*Kevin Michael Bowman, 31, of Stuart, unauthorized use of vehicle, June 19, 2019.

*Keith Allen Charles, 34, of Patrick Springs, possess firearm by non-violent felon, April 22.

*David Christian Chitwood, 23, of Martinsville, photograph child porn, Jan. 1.

*William Daniel Joseph Fitzgerald, 30, of Stuart, malicious wounding, March 22.

*Joshua Christopher Herring, 36, of Lawsonville, N.C., elude, Feb. 2.

*Dorian Evander Jones II, 49, of Ararat, possess with intent to distribute Schedule II drugs, April 27.

*Sherrie Lee Kendrick, 54, of Stuart, two counts destruction of property and one count shoplifting – 3rd or subsequent offense, between Dec. 19, 2018, and May 16, 2021.

*Darien Treyvon King, 29, of Stuart, child endangerment, April 25.

*Fernando Sanchez, 20, of Mount Airy, N.C., one count each break and enter and strangulation, Dec. 20, 2020.

*Joshua Alexander Tate, 36, of Stuart, one count each felony child abuse/neglect and elude, Feb. 22.

*Larry Darnell Tatum, 69, of Patrick Springs, attempt to commit first degree murder, Feb. 27.

*Joshua D. Taylor, 42, of Stuart, two counts of assault and battery on law enforcement officer, April 26.

*Jason Brandon Waller, 34, of Stuart, rape, Dec. 25, 2020.

*Caleb Aaron Willard, 26, of Stuart, one count each break and enter and credit card larceny, Dec. 14 – 15, 2020.

*Kevin Shane Belcher, 28, of Stuart, two counts of destruction of property and one count arson between April 9 and April 16, 2021.

*Johnny Edwards Williams, 77, of Stuart, two counts maliciously throw missile at occupied motor vehicle, Sept. 26 – 27, 2020.

*Charli Nicole Deal, 29, of Critz, one count each aggravated sexual battery with victim under age 13 and indecent liberties, between June 18 and July 2.

*Joshua Curtis Goodman, 32, of Martinsville, four counts of produce child porn, between Jan 1 and April 22.

*Derrick Devon Martin, 51, of Ridgeway, one count each felony elude, and assault and battery on law enforcement officer, April 16.

*Dale Marie Bray Turner, 52, of Stuart, three counts aggravated sexual battery, between Jan. 1, 2015, and Dec. 21, 2016.
