New provider joins Sovah Advanced Wound Center – Martinsville

Sovah Health announced that Kelly Short, FNP-C, APRN, MSN has joined its medical staff effective May 1, and is offering wound care and hyperbaric services for patients at Sovah Advanced Wound Center – Martinsville.  

“We are thrilled to welcome Kelly Short to our team of established providers at Sovah Health,” said Spencer Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Sovah Health – Martinsville. “Her hyperbaric medicine training and wound care background will be a valuable asset to our region and our patients.”

Kelly received her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University (St. Louis, MO). She also received a Master of Science in Nursing – Leadership and Management and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University (Salt Lake City, UT). Kelly is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

At Sovah Advanced Wound Center – Martinsville, Kelly specializes in hyperbaric medicine, venous insufficiency, traumatic wounds, lymphedema, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, and soft tissue infections.

She is accepting new patients and appointments may be made by calling (276) 634-4977. The practice is located at 320 Hospital Dr. in Martinsville.
