Patrick County Chamber of Commerce and Virginia Tech’s Reynolds Homestead are bringing together resources, training, and networking opportunities for local and regional nonprofit organizations. The Patrick County Nonprofit Organization Summit, scheduled for Nov. 7 at Patrick & Henry Community College’s Patrick County site, will launch ticket sales on Aug. 3.
Nonprofit organizations are the backbone of many public services, events, and community enrichment efforts throughout Patrick County and the surrounding region. From grant writing and fundraising to board governance and program management, nonprofit staff and volunteers must wear many hats. This summit will provide practical tools, professional development opportunities, and connections that strengthen organizations and their impact. Attendees will learn about recruitment and retention strategies, event planning, and other best practices that support organizations at every stage. Whether launching a new nonprofit, managing growth, or leading an established organization, participants will find valuable takeaways and resources.
