One Family Productions presented Christie Fain, executive director of Caring Hearts Free Clinic, with a check in the amount of $2,250 on Tuesday, November 27th.
The Front Porch Fest is produced by a group of family and friends who are inspired by the idea that life is enriched by art, with music at its soul. Lovers of music come together over Labor Day weekend in an intimate outdoor setting where the distinction between artist and audience is blurred. Local, regional, and national musicians showcase their talent on two stages with no overlapping sets, so that you never have to miss a beat. The organizers make sure there is something for everyone at the event: music, food, clothing attire, a masseur, and even a kid area. Children can enjoy arts and crafts, singing songs, and storytelling. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to camp.
Not only does Front Porch Fest help the free clinic by means of a monetary donation, but they help in all ways possible: lending a helping hand in other fundraisers for the clinic, spreading the word with advertising, and collaborating ideas of how to grow as a community.
“I am so proud to be part of the movement One Family Productions is trying to create in our sweet community. This organization has a whole lot of love to share with Patrick County,” said Sarah Way, vice president of One Family Productions.
Caring Hearts is very fortunate and grateful for organizations such as One Family Productions who give all of themselves in such an unselfish way. Thank you for providing an event that allows our community to come together while benefiting non-profit organizations. Donations make a crucial difference in the lives of our patients and we could not be more grateful for your generosity. Thank you for making a difference in someone’s life.
Proceeds from Front Porch Fest are donated to the Free Clinic as well as the Patrick County Food Bank each year. Organizers of the event think it is imperative to give back to the community.
