PANSY L. PENDLETON

Pansy Light Pendleton, age 84, of Bassett and formerly of Woolwine, went home to be with her Lord on December 3, 2016.
She was born in Floyd County on March 27, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Light and Lura Ada Nolen Light. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Moir K. Pendleton Sr.; three sisters, Mary Light Carr, Bertie Pendleton, and Mildred Pendleton; and two brothers, Henry Lee Light and Robert Elton Light.
She had retired from Liberty Fabrics in Woolwine with 35 years of service. She also was a faithful member of Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Family and friends all loved Pansy because of her sweet, Christ-like spirit.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Beverley and Wayne Fulcher of Bassett; one son, Kenneth Pendleton of Stuart; five grandchildren, Brian Fulcher and wife Stephanie, Kimberly Fulcher, Jason Fulcher and wife Brandi, Monica Pendleton, and Cindy Faulkner and husband Todd; 10 great-grandchildren, Michael Fulcher, Susanna Fulcher, Noah Fulcher, Luke Fulcher, Aiden Fulcher, Colin Fulcher, Makenna Fulcher, Caleb Faulkner, Anna Faulkner, and Isaiah Faulkner; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Kenneth Terry officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens with Brian Fulcher, Jason Fulcher, Paul Hanchey, Ardith Walker, David Pendleton and Todd Faulkner serving as pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 18981 Jeb Stuart Hwy., Stuart, VA, 24171.
