Due to the bad weather, the Patrick County Golf team had back to back matches, playing on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the team traveled to West Lake Golf Course in Franklin County where they finished second with a score of 331. Daniel Smith had the low score of 78, followed closely by Jarrod Burnette’s 79.  Both Luke Jessup and Woody Biggs had 87.  Head Coach Phillip Steagall felt it was a “good team score on a very tough golf course.”

The next day, the golf team traveled to Oak Hill Golf Course in Eden, N.C. and scored a 329. Burnette led the team with a low score of 78. Smith had an 80, Biggs had an 84, and Jessup had an 87.

The team finished third against all eight Piedmont teams.

Coach Steagall was pleased with the score and said the team is “good getting scores from all of his players.”
