The Pride of Patrick County marching band and color guard will host a Celebration of Pride Event hosting seven bands on Saturday, September 29.
Public admission begins at 2 p.m. and the first band is slated to perform at 3 p.m. Admission is $6 and parking will be available at the Patrick County High School campus.
Performances will include James River, Fort Chiswell, Tunstall, Nelson County, EC Glass, GW Danville, and Alta Vista with an Exhibition performance by our VA Honor band “The Pride of Patrick County Marching Cougars” and “1st place award winning color guard.”
Concessions will be available on site and include chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chili cheese fries, nachos and cheese, candy, drinks and more.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Pride of Patrick County marching Cougars and color guard.

The band and color guard will also provide concessions at the Patrick County Agricultural Fair. During the week, from 4 to 10:30 p.m. and from 3 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Concessions there will include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, fries, and chili cheese fries along with cold drinks.
