The Patrick County School Board will hold a reorganizational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 10 at Meadows of Dan Elementary School.
The meeting begins in closed session at 4 p.m., with the board slated to discuss prospective candidates for employment and consider a monthly personnel report.
The public portion of the meeting begins at 5:20 p.m. with a public comment period, followed by the election of a chairman, vice chairman, appointing a clerk and deputy clerk and committee assignments.
The board also will hear a presentation of Gov. Ralph Northam’s budget proposal.
