The Patrick County Girls Varsity Soccer Team advanced to the VHSL Regional Postseason Semi-finals in a 6-0 quarter final win over Martinsville – a first because no Patrick County girls soccer team has made it to this stage in the postseason before.
Macy Hall, Cindy Leon-Cisneros, Dakota Ashworth, Chloie Wright, Kendall Williams, and Camille Gonzalez all scored for the Lady Cougars. Skye Ayers had two saves and scored the goal in the win. The Cougars ended the season with a 9-8-4 record.
“We worked hard this season and learned a lot,” Coach Houstan Deskins said. “I cannot wait to see what our growth looks like next season.”
