The Patrick County High School SkillsUSA TeamWorks competitors traveled to the SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership & Skills Conference in Virginia Beach, bringing home state honors.
Schools Superintendent Dr. Jason Wood said to his understanding, this marked the first time the school division has had a winner and runner up in a Skills USA competition.
Participating students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, technical skill, and professionalism while competing against the best Career & Technical Education students across the Commonwealth.
