The Patrick County Volleyball teams won three of their four matches this week. On Sept. 16, the Lady Cougars hosted Carroll County. PC lost in three sets with scores of 11-25, 15-25, and 21-25. The team had 7 aces, 34 digs, 19 kills, and 17 assists. On Sept. 17, the Cougars travelled to GW Danville. PC won in three sets with the scores of 25-8, 25-13, and 25-15. The team had 16 aces, 27 assists, 30 kills, and 3 blocks. On Sept. 18 went on the road to Dan River winning in four sets with scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, and 25-21. The team had 34 kills, 34 assists,6 blocks, 17 aces, and 33 digs. The Cougars finished up their four-game stretch at home against Martinsville on September 19, winning in three games with the scores 25-10, 25-10, and 25-14. The Lady Cougars had 23 aces, 29 kills, 25 assists, and 17 digs. The Varsity Cougars are now 6-6 overall.
