The Varsity Golf Team travelled to Olde Mill to compete in an All-District Match on Sept. 16. PC finished second in a field of five teams with a score of 339. Halifax won the match with a score of 324. Magna Vista came in 3rd place with a score of 345 followed by Tunstall with a score of 349 and GW Danville with a score of 364. Wesley Roberson and Jalen Hagwood led the Cougars with a score of 83. Taylor Swails shot an 86 and David Smith shot an 87. Coach Phillip Steagall said, “It was a great score for us today on a very tough course. We just need to keep working on our short game in the upcoming weeks as we get to post season play.”
